Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of West Valley is seeking a Team Leader for Physical Therapy to lead a dedicated team, ensure policy and treatment standards, and deliver compassionate patient care in a supportive, community-focused environment.

The role requires licensure, CPR, and a minimum three years in physical therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical PT. Comprehensive benefits start day one and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program; minimum three years of PT or leadership experience, with at least two years of clinical PT.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Director of Therapy Operations in daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with therapy staff and hospital departments.
• Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
