Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga at Cleveland in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Physical Therapy Team Leader to guide the therapy team and deliver patient-centered care.

In this role you will work with the Director of Therapy Operations, overseeing scheduling and training, providing direct patient care, and helping to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes while upholding compliance and compassion.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with two years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in daily therapy team operations: scheduling, orientation, training, and interdepartmental communication.
• Provide direct patient care and build rewarding patient relationships to support recovery.

Your Role as a Leader in Physical Therapy

Your impactful journey involves:

• Assisting the Director of Therapy Operations in the daily operations of the therapy team, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with the physical therapy staff and hospital departments.
• Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
