Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time PT Store Environment Team Member in Richmond area. You will help maintain store cleanliness and recovery, assist customers, and execute checkout duties with accuracy.

You may participate in BOPIS and SFS processes and support stocking and safety programs. Candidates should be at least 16 years old, have retail or cleaning experience, and be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Team member must be at least sixteen years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and recovery to deliver brand promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist customers with shopping and locating items.
• Handle cash transactions and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Encourage enrollments in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
