PT Service Worker II | Public Works

Department: Roads & Street Division

Location: City of Lake Alfred, FL

Job Type: Part-Time | $17.44 per hour | 24 hours per week

Responsible for maintenance and care of city streets, alleys, right of ways, stormwater utilities, and city-owned buildings. Requires two (2) years of experience in street maintenance or a similar field. Must be able to operate general lawn equipment. Work involves performing heavy manual labor, using hand tools to assemble, install, and maintain equipment and city properties. As experience is gained, tasks may become more complex. Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license. Reports to Superintendents and Public Works Director.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years experience in street maintenance or similar
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
