Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server to join our team. This part-time role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced environment at our Oregon property.

As a Server, you will take accurate orders, present food attractively, and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience while maintaining a clean, compliant service area. Training and growth are supported in a team-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School education is required; post-secondary is a plus.
• At least 1 year in a hotel/restaurant serving role.
• Familiar with cash handling and POS operations.

Responsibilities

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests.
• Monitors food distribution and ensures meals are presented well.
• Checks station for setup and cleanliness before/during/after shift.
• Adheres to all liquor regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Familiar with menu items, preparation, and service procedures.
• Totals checks, presents to guests and processes payments.
• Assists with bussing tables.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests
• Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing.
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverage to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation and service procedure.
• Totals checks, presents to guests and accept payment
• Assists with bussing tables
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Team player

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
