What you get to do:

In this role, you will ensure the highest level of guest safety, security, and satisfaction. You will serve in a number of key roles providing the professional demeanor and reassuring presence that gives guests and ambassadors peace of mind and enhances their overall park experience. Specifically, you will:

1. Provide guests and team members with a safe and secure environment
2. Practice safe work habits, including the use of personal protective equipment
3. Work security checkpoints
4. Complete general security tasks
5. Inspect all bags to prevent the introduction of contraband into the park
6. Monitor all vehicles and employees entering and exiting the park
7. Check ID cards and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic
8. Complete security lockdowns after operating hours
9. Perform routine foot and vehicle patrols
10. Respond and provide aid for emergency situations
11. Maintain order in large crowds and perform traffic control
12. Testify in court when necessary
13. Serve as the Park Dispatcher, Communications Center, and Emergency Operations Center Officer
14. Work as Security Lead Officer or Officer in Charge (OIC) in the absence of an on-site supervisor

What it takes to succeed:

1. At least 18 years of age
2. High school diploma or equivalent
3. American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification or able to obtain them
4. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills
5. Must have a valid driver’s license
6. Ability to maintain calm and order in high-pressure situations
7. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
8. Ability to work with large crowds in a fast-paced environment
9. Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
