Job summary

Summary:

Perform a variety of manual tasks such as landscaping, painting, light maintenance, and office work as directed.

Supervision:

Works under the supervision of a Working Foreman who assigns work and checks for proper performance of duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

May include the following; other duties may be assigned.

• Grass cutting and trimming, trash pick-up, mulching, planting, loam and seeding, watering, edging.
• Filling potholes and other street maintenance.
• Assist in routine water repairs and maintenance.
• Paint fire hydrants.
• Perform routine office duties
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic familiarity of hand and power tools
• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License, preferred
