DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas.
• Present a neat, professional appearance.
• Assist with special projects and other duties assigned by supervisors.
• Adhere to management planning guidelines to ensure productivity.
• Support safety standards; report equipment issues; keep work areas hazard-free.
• Treat all colleagues with fairness and respect.
• Perform accurate price checks and handle discrepancies.
• Manage store supplies efficiently.
• Verify customer IDs and adhere to policies regarding checks, tobacco, and alcohol sales.
• Maintain register security and follow cash handling policies.
• Observe security protocols and report suspicious activities.
• Process various transactions in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Secure registers when unattended and maintain equipment properly.

PREREQUISITE TRAINING

Physical Requirements

• Handle currency and operate store equipment frequently.
• Lift up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Reach and grasp at various levels.
• Sufficient visual acuity for ID and document checks.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Greet customers warmly and provide prompt service.
• Efficiently scan and process purchases.
• Handle payments and give accurate change.

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 hourly.
