DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Follow all company policies and procedures.
2. Clean the Service Desk/Kiosk area.
3. Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
4. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
5. Adhere to management planning guidelines to ensure productivity.
6. Follow safety standards, report equipment issues, and keep the work area safe.
7. Treat all associates with fairness and respect.
8. Perform accurate price checks and record discrepancies.
9. Manage store supplies responsibly.
10. Verify customer IDs and adhere to policies on checks, tobacco, and alcohol sales.
11. Maintain cash register security and handle transactions accurately.
12. Use and maintain equipment properly and report malfunctions.
13. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
14. Recognize and differentiate produce merchandise.
15. Perform cashier and service functions as needed.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

PREREQUISITE TRAINING

Completed Cashier/Service Associate training packet.

Physical Requirements

• Stand continuously; occasional walking.
• Handle currency and operate equipment frequently.
• Lift up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds on occasion.
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Reaching, grasping, and visual acuity requirements.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Provide friendly and prompt customer service.
• Efficiently and accurately scan purchases.
• Handle cash, checks, and electronic payments correctly.
• Process refunds according to standard practice.
• Meet physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Follow AML guidelines for Western Union and check cashing.

Salary range: $15.10 - $22.60 hourly.
