Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness at the Service Desk/Kiosk.
  • Present a neat, well-groomed appearance and adhere to personal appearance policies.
  • Assist with special projects and perform assigned functions.
  • Work within management planning guidelines to maintain productivity.
  • Support safety standards, report equipment issues, and keep work areas safe and clean.
  • Treat all associates with fairness, dignity, and respect.
  • Perform accurate price checks and control supply usage.
  • Record discrepancies and request price checks as needed.
  • Verify customer IDs and adhere to policies on checks, tobacco, and alcohol sales.
  • Manage register cash levels and request cash pickups per policy.
  • Observe security standards and report abnormal behavior.
  • Process transactions including cash, checks, electronic payments, coupons, gift cards, refunds, lottery, and Western Union, complying with policies and regulations.
  • Secure the register when unattended and protect company assets.
  • Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
  • Ensure store cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Recognize and differentiate produce merchandise.
  • Perform cashier and service functions as needed.
Qualifications

Prerequisite Training
  • Completion of Cashier/Service Associate training packet.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand continuously; occasional walking.
  • Handle currency and operate equipment frequently.
  • Lift up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Reach and grasp at various heights.
  • Meet activity standards and have adequate visual acuity.
Preferred Requirements
  • Greet customers promptly and courteously.
  • Provide friendly customer service.
  • Efficiently scan purchases and handle payments accurately.
  • Process refunds and adhere to physical requirements, with accommodations if needed.
  • Follow AML guidelines for Western Union, Money Orders, Prepaid Cards, and Check Cashing.

Salary range: $15.50 - $22.30 hourly.
