Position Overview
Our Sales Ambassadors at Ralph Lauren create exceptional lifestyle experiences for clients. They are passionate about the brand, infuse interactions with style, and leverage their expertise to build personal connections and surpass goals. They listen actively and understand client needs to enhance appreciation for the Ralph Lauren lifestyle. Sales Ambassadors are leaders within the store and serve as the entry point for future management roles, contributing to our brand's legacy and their career growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding needs, demonstrating product knowledge, and providing personalized styling advice.
- Develop personal business strategies to increase productivity through wardrobe consultations, outreach, and digital tools for client engagement.
- Support sales goals by collaborating with the team to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, maintaining brand standards.
- Coach and guide fellow Brand Ambassadors in customer-centric behaviors and relationship-building skills.
- Build genuine customer relationships, offering product recommendations aligned with their preferences.
- Achieve sales goals and KPIs such as SPH and data capture, utilizing available tools effectively.
- Adapt product presentations for remote or in-person customers, demonstrating flexibility to meet their needs.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools like Polo Connect to support clienteling and business initiatives.
- Participate in store and community initiatives, contributing to outreach efforts.
- Balance tasks efficiently, prioritizing the customer experience at all times.
- Provide feedback to management regarding category opportunities or needs.
- Maintain visual standards and use visual techniques according to company guidelines.
- Support a positive, professional work environment, uphold company values and policies, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Engage in team training and initiatives to drive business results.
- Assist in sourcing and networking to help find top talent for the store.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Previous sales experience in a high-volume or high-profile specialty environment is preferred.
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
- Ability to navigate the sales floor, stockroom, dressing rooms, and operate chemicals safely.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, climb, stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers, management, and colleagues.
- Experience with digital sales tools is preferred.
