Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is hiring a Bar Porter to support bar operations by stocking liquor, beer, garnishes, glassware, and supplies, and by keeping the bar area clean, safe, and well organized. You will help bartenders serve guests efficiently while delivering friendly, attentive service.

Requirements include at least 21 years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to communicate in English, and the ability to obtain work cards; 6 months bar porter experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture.
• Assist bartenders by stocking liquor, beer, garnishes, glassware, and pump room supplies.
• Replace empty beer kegs and remove empty bottles and trash as needed.
• Clean bar equipment, sinks, mats, and polish fixtures to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Sweep and mop floors and ensure all work areas are safe and presentable.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
