Primary Purpose

Perform duties to maintain department appearance, quality, variety, safety, and food safety at the highest level. Promote Hannaford's strategy, build customer relations, and provide enthusiastic customer service.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lb. regularly; occasionally lift 75 lb.
• Reach shoulder level or above while lifting 30 lbs.
• Stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Perform bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting of produce items.
• Handle various substances related to cleaning, packaging, and food preparation.
• Work in cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes.

Preferred Requirements

• Assist customers in locating and selecting products.
• Perform stocking, culling, and rotation according to guidelines.
• Prepare products to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to quality standards.

Additional Information

Salary range: $15.00 - $19.65 per hour.
