Primary Purpose

Perform duties to ensure department appearance, quality, variety, safety, and food safety are maintained at the highest level. Support Hannaford's strategy, build customer relations, and provide enthusiastic customer service.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements
• Must meet minimum age requirements

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs. most of the time; up to 75 lbs. on occasion
• Reach shoulder level or above while lifting 30 lbs.
• Stand and walk continuously
• Perform bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting of produce items
• Use hands for feeling objects and tools for opening boxes or cleaning produce
• Handle substances related to cleaning, packaging, and food products
• Work in cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes

Compensation

Salary range: $15.50 - $22.30 per hour
