Qualifications

  • Currently registered as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or (RPT) by the State of Alabama Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, plan, and provide physical therapy services as prescribed by referring physician.
  • Complete patient-related documentation, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
  • Develop plans of care for Physical Therapy Assistants and train new staff.

To evaluate, plan, and provide physical therapy services as prescribed by the referring physician and as evidenced by the patient's needs. To complete patient-related documentation, ensuring content and timeliness to meet all professional requirements and legal/regulatory specifications. To evaluate and develop plan of care for Physical Therapy Assistants, according to APTA guidelines. To train and orient new department staff and participate in the clinical training and supervision of assigned students and interns.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently registered as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or (RPT) by the State of Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
