Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapist to make a difference by helping patients maintain and improve movement and function in home settings. This full-time, days position offers a competitive pay range and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include patient interventions, regular reexaminations (every 30 days at minimum), discharge planning, and other duties as assigned. Licensure, CAPTE accreditation, and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by CAPTE.
• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as mentoring and/or residency participation.
