Primary Purpose

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will perform various roles including filling prescriptions, assisting customers, and supporting pharmacy team members. Your goal is to deliver an excellent customer experience with professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion. You will be part of a community that values care, humor, integrity, teamwork, and courage.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Personalize customer experiences using your skills and product knowledge to problem-solve and meet or exceed expectations.
• Assist pharmacists with filling and processing prescriptions, learning from their expertise.
• Support the pharmacy through clerical tasks such as filing and organizing.
• Adapt to changing retail environments and perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

You don't need a college degree, but you should have:

• Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills
• High integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Effective interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Meet minimum age and educational requirements
• Physical ability to perform job duties, with or without accommodations

Physical Requirements

• Standing and using a computer for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lbs
• Visual and auditory capacity to process prescriptions and serve customers

Preferred Requirements

Hannaford will pay for your National Technician Certification, providing support, training, and educational materials to help you succeed.

Salary range: $15.50 - $21.40 hourly
