Primary Purpose

This role involves filling prescriptions, assisting customers, unpacking totes, answering phones, and addressing customer inquiries. Certification at the state or national level is required and must be maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment, and prepare supplies at shift start.
2. Unpack totes, organize supplies on shelves, and check inventory and expiration dates.
3. Assist customers and answer phone calls.
4. Verify customer identification for age-restricted products.
5. Complete prescription filling, including data entry and dispensing.
6. Maintain required state or national certifications, including immunization certification if applicable.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet minimum age requirements for the state.
• Successfully pass background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand job duties and safety regulations.
• Complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards.
• Ability to use required equipment and perform job functions safely.
• Wear appropriate clothing and shoes as per company policy.
• Maintain valid licenses, certificates, or permits required for the role.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4 hours, variable based on business needs.
• Job involves standing (55%) and walking (45%).
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Maximum static pull: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
• Comply with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of MSDS materials, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, and HIPAA training.
• Complete additional pharmacy-specific training as required.

Compensation

Salary range: $15.50 - $19.00 per hour.
