Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to fill prescriptions, assist customers, unpack totes, answer phones, and respond to questions within specified limits.

Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment, and prepare supplies at shift start.
2. Unpack incoming supplies and organize on shelves.
3. Clean shelving, check inventory, and inspect for expiration dates.
4. Assist customers and answer calls.
5. Verify customer identification for products when required.
6. Complete prescription filling, including data entry and dispensing.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet state minimum age requirements.
• Complete background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand job duties and safety policies.
• Complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.
• Perform all functions safely and meet performance standards.
• Wear approved clothing and footwear.
• Maintain valid licenses, certificates, or permits as required.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more.
• Job involves continual activity.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, sit 0%, walk 45% of the time.
• Maximum static pull: 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Compliance with pharmacy laws and standards.
• Knowledge of MSDS materials.
• Completion of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, and HIPAA training.
