The primary responsibilities include filling prescriptions, assisting customers, unpacking totes, answering phones, and responding to inquiries within set limits.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment, and prepare supplies at the start of each shift.
2. Move, open, and unpack totes; organize items on shelves.
3. Clean shelves, check inventory, and inspect products for expiration.
4. Assist customers and handle telephone inquiries.
5. Verify customer identification for product purchases when required.
6. Complete prescription filling processes, including data entry and dispensing.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet state minimum age requirements.
• Pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand to perform duties effectively.
• Complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards.
• Learn and operate necessary equipment and tools safely.
• Adhere to dress code and wear approved clothing and shoes.
• Maintain valid licenses, certificates, or permits required for the role.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, adaptable to business needs.
• Physical demands include lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., standing 55%, walking 45%.
• Max static pull: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Compliance with pharmacy laws and standards.
• Knowledge of MSDS materials used at work.
• Completion of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, HIPAA, and other pharmacy training.
