The primary purpose of this job is to assist customers and answer telephone calls.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule promptly at the start of each shift.
• Help customers at the counter.
• Answer and assist with telephone calls.
• Verify customer identification for products when required.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet state minimum age requirements.
• Complete background check and drug screening successfully.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand to perform job duties and comply with policies and safety regulations.
• Complete a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements and base scores.
• Use or learn to use necessary equipment and tools.
• Maintain regular attendance and meet performance standards.
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes as approved for the job.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Job involves continual work cycles.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45% of the time.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understand company policies and procedures.
• Follow all state and federal pharmacy laws and standards.
• Know MSDS information for materials used.
• Complete Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, and HIPAA training.
• Complete all additional pharmacy training requirements.
