Primary Purpose

The primary goal of this position is to assist customers and handle telephone inquiries, contributing to a positive shopping experience and efficient store operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review the work schedule promptly at the start of each shift.
2. Assist customers at the counter.
3. Answer and manage telephone calls.
4. Verify customer identification for age-restricted products when necessary.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Meet state minimum age requirements.
• Successfully complete background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand to perform job duties effectively.
• Complete a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
• Ability to operate necessary equipment and tools.
• Adhere to safety standards and wear approved clothing and shoes.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift: 4 hours, depending on business needs.
• Stand for approximately 55% of the time, walk 45%, and sit 0%.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Perform tasks requiring up to 20 lbs. of static pull.

Preferred Requirements

• Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
• Comply with all pharmacy laws and standards.
• Maintain MSDS information for all materials used.
• Complete required safety and compliance trainings, including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, and HIPAA.
