Join The GIANT Company as a Pharmacy Associate and help us serve our communities while building a purposeful career. Your primary responsibilities include assisting customers, answering phone calls, and verifying identification for products when required.

Responsibilities

1. Review the work schedule at the start of each shift.
2. Help customers at the counter.
3. Answer and assist with telephone calls.
4. Verify customer identification for products as needed.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and meet state minimum age requirements.
• Successfully complete background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, communicate effectively, and understand safety policies.
• Complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Meet ergonomic, physical, and performance standards, including attendance.
• Ability to use or learn to use necessary equipment and tools.
• Adhere to proper dress code and safety regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum shift of 4 hours, with physical demands including lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., standing for 55%, and walking for 45% of the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of company policies, laws, and safety procedures such as Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right-to-Know training.
• Completion of HIPAA and pharmacy-specific training requirements.
