Position Overview

CUMULUS MEDIA | Dallas seeks a dynamic Part-Time On-Air Host for KSCS and KPLX who can deliver lifestyle headlines, be focused, creative, compelling, and entertaining. Responsibilities include hosting shows with community-driven content, social media engagement, live appearances, and production. Our talent work in a state-of-the-art facility, value teamwork, and are committed to community involvement.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Produce engaging entertainment through creativity and good judgment in writing, producing, and interviewing
• Engage with callers, interview guests, and host live events
• Connect with listeners via phone, social media, video, and web
• Participate in station programming, promotions, and sales meetings
• Assist in station production and imaging
• Manage emergency news/weather during shows and be on call for weather disasters or breaking news

Qualifications

• On-Air experience with successful ratings preferred
• Strong production skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social networking
• Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations
• Awareness of local and national trends, with the ability to discuss relevant topics
• Creativity and online engagement skills
• Team-oriented attitude
• Demo of show, interviews, commentary, social media, and video work should be included in your profile/application
