Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse for PT Nights on a 11-bed unit serving 11-17 year-olds. You will provide skilled, compassionate care, assess evolving patient conditions, and develop care plans, collaborating with RNs and psychiatric counselors in a family-therapy–driven, autonomous team.

The role requires ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL and an active RN license (MD or compact) with BLS certification; relocation and relocation bonuses are offered along with generous PTO and healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions and identify actual and potential health concerns.
• Develop appropriate care plans and coordinate interventions with the nursing team.
