Stonebridge Companies is seeking a Night Auditor in Washington, DC for a part-time overnight role. You will close the business day, balance revenues, and handle guest services such as check-ins and check-outs.

Responsibilities include using the property management system, verifying payments, and coordinating with housekeeping to ensure a smooth overnight operation. Strong bookkeeping and customer service skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
• Proficiency in basic bookkeeping and balancing financial transactions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using property management systems and office software.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Make and confirm reservations, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Provide guests with information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Document guest feedback and elevate issues to management when necessary.
• Perform nightly “bucket checks” to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Assist in maintaining security and safety during overnight shifts by monitoring guest activity and access.

Job Summary

The Night Auditor is responsible for closing the business day by balancing revenues and receipts, performing bookkeeping activities, and providing guest services such as check-ins, check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries, ensuring a smooth overnight operation of the hotel.

Work Environment

Primarily indoor work, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting of items up to 10 lbs. Frequent use of computers and telephones, requiring extended periods of sitting. Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
