Job description

Hours: Part-time - Weekend availability

Pay: Starting from $15 / hour

Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to merchandise products within all format accounts. This includes stocking shelves, rotating shelved products, setting up displays, stocking and rotating products in coolers, organizing and rotating products in storage rooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts
2. Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf
3. Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location
4. Maintain backroom/back stock areas in an orderly fashion
5. Keep merchandise displayed in a manner calculated to increase sales
6. Build customer relationships at the store level
7. Communicate with the Customer upon arrival and departure from the store
8. Perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

1. Sufficient formal or informal education to ensure the ability to read and write at a level required for successful job performance
2. A valid driver's license and required level of insurance coverage (Not required for individuals 16 and 17 years of age who report to a single account)
3. Reliable transportation to and from accounts
4. A valid pallet jack and/or forklift certification where necessary
5. Knowledge of general merchandising
6. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
7. Basic knowledge of computers and tablets
8. Effective oral and written communication skills
9. Skills in problem solving and judgement and decision making
10. Ability to provide attention to detail
11. Ability to perform miscellaneous job functions in a scheduled timeframe
12. Must be flexible and adaptable to support the team to obtain Company goals
13. Ability to work evenings, weekends and holiday hours

Working Environment: Work generally takes place in a store setting. Individuals must be able to operate a tablet or PC, as well as a two-wheel dolly and pallet jack.
