• Completion of state-approved Medication Technician training and certification.
• Experience with medication administration and monitoring.
• Ability to adhere to regulatory requirements and patient safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of prescribed medications and observe/report responses to supervisor.
• Keep medication supply room organized, assist with cart audits, and provide accurate medication counts; coordinate with pharmacies.
• Complete required training/certification and maintain compliance with state regulations.

Our PT Med Tech positions typically work a 3 day/24 hour week, with opportunity to pick up additional shifts - Currently, this position is day shift; however, as part of our clinical team, you could be called to cover evening/NOC shifts when needed due to call outs or vacation coverage.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Based on state regulations and completion of required training/certification, Medication Aides/Techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider and observe/report responses to your supervisor.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs make sure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and provide accurate counts of all medications. You will also communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
