Job description

Join us as a PT Laundry Worker at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility.

Starting Pay Rate: $16.66/hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
  • Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain records of laundry activities and report issues.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
  • Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, walk for extended periods.
  • Work around cleaning products.
  • Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
  • Residency within the service area required.
