Job summary

PMM Companies in Arlington, VA is seeking a reliable Part-time General Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and a safe environment for employees and visitors. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness standards.

Shifts are 3x/week, Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM, with an hourly rate of $17.80. The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to operate cleaning equipment, and ready to support events as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum all areas of the facility
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, toilets, sinks, fixtures
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces such as desks and door handles
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers)
• Report maintenance or repair needs to Facilities Manager
• Assist with setup and cleanup after events or meetings
• Follow safety protocols and hygiene standards
• Adhere to company cleanliness policies
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Summary: PMM Companies is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time General Cleaner to join our company. The General Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness across our premises, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for employees, visitors, and guests. Shift Schedule: 3x/week Monday - Friday - 4:00PM - 12:30AM

Hourly Rate: $17.80

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming all areas of the facility.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, such as desks, countertops, and door handles.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up after events or meetings.
• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 to 50 pounds.
