Job Description

The job-share program is part-time teaching position designed to bring back retirees to the classroom as well as teachers looking to work half days. The position is non‑benefit earning, and will not require you to come out of retirement.

Please note that an expired license does not automatically disqualify you from these positions. Our Licensure Specialists will review each license and determine eligibility. Many times we will be able to "Validate" an expired license, which would reactivate your North Carolina teaching license. We also can assist in applying for out‑of‑state reciprocal licenses.
