Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a traveling Retail Merchandiser to cover a territory in Illinois, visiting 3–20 locations to merchandise fashion jewelry and accessories. You will build strong relationships with store teams, set up and maintain displays, perform inventories, and handle light administrative tasks.

A valid driver’s license and ability to lift light weights are required. The role involves regular travel, onsite work in retail environments, and reporting to a District Manager.

Job description

• Travel throughout an assigned territory of approximately 3–20 retail locations within a given mile radius
• Build relationships with retail store teams and store employees

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver's license (exception may be considered in metropolitan markets with Supervisor approval)
• Proof of insurance, vehicle registration, and license validity will be verified regularly
• Must regularly lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, and kneel
• Must have general availability to train during daytime business hours
• Energetic, reliable, and comfortable working with people
• Learns quickly, stays organized, and pays attention to details
• Comfortable following directions and making decisions when necessary
• Comfortable with technology; access to the internet and an email account
• Able to work effectively without extensive supervision
