Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain cleanliness across various store areas, including office spaces, restrooms, break rooms, and lunchrooms. Responsibilities include trash removal, operating floor cleaners and power washers, and spill cleanup.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at shift start.
2. Clean and vacuum floors in office and conference areas.
3. Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
4. Remove trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean spills, and use power washer for sidewalks.
5. Dust and wash surfaces.
6. Wash mirrors, glass, surfaces, floors, and equipment in break rooms, lunchrooms, and restrooms.
7. Resupply items as needed.
8. Use floor cones to mark hazardous conditions.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.
• Complete the company's introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English relevant to job and safety.
• Adhere to performance standards, including attendance and safety.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes as approved for the role.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more based on business needs.
• Job cycles: continual maximum.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Max static pull: 20 lbs.
