Primary Purpose

As an Expeditor, you serve as a customer service liaison, ensuring smooth and efficient order pickups and deliveries, and representing Hannaford positively. Your responsibilities include organizing orders, checking product quality, staging orders, partnering with departments, and assisting customers at pickup.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize shop and pickup processes.
• Conduct order reviews and check code dates for produce quality.
• Ensure order accuracy and stage orders efficiently.
• Partner with department leaders for proper handling of prepared items.
• Dispense orders to customers and delivery drivers.
• Monitor delivery orders and manage related dashboards.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone and ensure order completeness.
• Support cash pickups and verify customer IDs, adhering to store policies.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Knowledge of the Hannaford To Go service requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Perform repetitive motions while standing/walking.
• Wear shopping device hands-free.
• Lift up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Handle various substances and check identification cards.

Salary Range

$15.90 - $21.60 per hour
