Primary Purpose

As an Expeditor, you serve as the customer service liaison for the Hannaford To Go department. You are the voice and face of Hannaford for customers during pickup, ensuring a smooth and positive experience with accurate, high-quality fresh items. Your daily tasks include:

1. Organizing and prioritizing shop and pickup processes.
2. Conducting order reviews.
3. Checking code dates and quality of produce.
4. Counting parcels for accuracy.
5. Staging orders and consolidating bags.
6. Setting up shopper carts.
7. Partnering with department leaders for item preparation.
8. Dispensing orders to customers and delivery drivers.
9. Monitoring delivery orders and managing dashboards.
10. Answering customer calls.
11. Adhering to wait time and order completeness goals.
12. Handling cash pickups and logging transactions.
13. Verifying customer IDs and complying with age-restricted sales policies.

Additional Duties

1. Following all company policies and safety standards.
2. Maintaining a neat appearance.
3. Handling return-to-stock items promptly, especially perishables.
4. Reporting equipment issues and maintaining a safe work area.
5. Recognizing different types of produce and documenting discrepancies.
6. Securing registers and equipment when unattended.
7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive hand and arm motions while standing/walking.
• Wearing shopping devices hands-free.
• Lifting up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Pushing or pulling up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Working in various weather conditions.
• Handling various substances including produce and cleaning materials.
• Visual acuity to read screens and documents.

Salary range: $16.25 - $23.50 per hour.
