Houston Community College is seeking a PT Graphic Designer Web to design and maintain the college website and campus information network content. You will collaborate with Public Relations to deliver GUI-rich pages and ensure consistent branding across platforms.
The role requires 3 years of web graphic design experience, an associate degree (or related equivalent), and a portfolio to review at interview. This position supports after-hours work as needed.
Works as part of the Public Relations team to coordinate digital communications via the campus information network as well as creating and serving as administrator and content manager for the college website.

Associate’s degree in web-based multi-media, graphic arts, digital communications, or a related field.
4 years directly-related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
3 years web graphic design experience required.
Experience in an institution of higher education with preference given for community college or health care experience.
Experience supporting hardware and software in PC and Macintosh environments.
A sample of a professional portfolio required at the time of interview.
General Office. Must be able to perform all job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations; remain in a stationary position during shift; move items weighing up to 25 pounds; position self to operate job equipment; apply established protocols in a timely manner. Must access, input and retrieve information from technology devices; communicate with others to accomplish job requirements. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
