Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional customer service:
   • Welcome and connect with each customer.
   • Recommend products and assist with purchases to enhance the customer experience.
   • Provide product demonstrations and sampling.
2. Produce high-quality products:
   • Serve items that meet visual and quality standards.
   • Practice safe food handling.
   • Follow merchandising, stock, rotation, and storage standards.
   • Maintain a professional and clean appearance during every shift.
3. Contribute to store profitability:
   • Follow cash handling procedures and register policies.
   • Adhere to inventory and stock guidelines.
4. Learn and demonstrate knowledge as a barista:
   • Engage in self-initiated learning beyond standard training.
   • Learn and demonstrate standards of product and conduct established by The GIANT Company and Starbucks.

Qualifications

• Preferably supervisory and/or barista experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification.
• Meet company performance standards, including attendance.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills; food handling certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, walk for 45% of shifts.
• Category IV activities: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Maximum static pull: 20 lbs.
