Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist the pharmacy manager in controlling inventories by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
2. Weigh, measure, and mix drugs and medical compounds; fill bottles with correct quantities; advise self-medicating patients; dispense non-prescription medications; communicate with health and insurance professionals.
3. Perform patient immunizations regularly.
4. In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, schedule associates, recognize and discipline staff, assign work, and meet company profit objectives.
5. Support ongoing training and development of department personnel to improve performance and reduce turnover.
6. Help control department expenses by monitoring operations, meeting labor goals, and reducing shrinkage.
7. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints courteously, provide counseling on prescription issues, and identify areas for service improvement.
8. Maintain a safe and clean department adhering to health and OSHA standards.
9. Keep accurate records and submit reports on department activities.
10. Ensure smooth department and store operations through cooperation with colleagues and supervisors.
11. Perform any additional duties as required.

Qualification Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D
• State Pharmacist License
