Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Part-Time Float Pharmacist. You will help individuals with complex health needs receive their medications and follow treatment plans across multiple Minnesota sites, with hours Mon-Fri and a 32-hour schedule.

You will distribute, explain, and administer medications within regulatory guidelines, providing exceptional patient service and supporting immunizations as allowed by state boards.

Qualifications

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy required.
• Current pharmacist license in Minnesota or willingness to obtain before start date.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 3 months of hire.

Part-Time Float Pharmacist

Join Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, and help serve behavioral health and addiction treatment communities. As part of a coordinated care team, you will help individuals with complex health conditions receive the right medications and follow their treatment plans.

The Part-Time Float Pharmacist performs professional duties associated with processing prescriptions while delivering compassionate, patient-focused service. Pharmacy hours are generally Monday-Friday, with the specific schedule based on business needs.

This role supports multiple Northern Minnesota locations, including Duluth, Baxter, Sartell, and St. Cloud

What you will do

• Distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized health practitioners.
• Provide customers with information about medications and their appropriate use.
• Deliver a superior level of customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administer immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Perform other usual and customary pharmacy duties.

What You'll Need

• BA or PharmD in Pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Minnesota or willing to obtain prior to start date.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire.

• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Schedule & Location

• Employment status: Part-time, 32 hours per week.
• Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday
• Schedule: Based on business needs.
• Coverage area: Multiple Northern Minnesota sites, including Duluth, Baxter, Sartell, and St. Cloud.

Compensation & Benefits Highlights

• $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates.
• The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment.
