This position pays between $20.21 - $23.77/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is an hourly position.
This is a remote work-from-home position, requiring residence in IL or MI. Travel to the office for training and occasional in-office attendance will be necessary. Remote work is after 90 days of training in Peoria.
The Patient Financial Navigator ensures that each patient has a complete and accurate OSF medical record, including demographics, insurance coverage, responsible guarantor, and registration details. They will explain services, financial responsibilities, and expectations to patients, providing financial education and assistance with billing, payment options, grants, and programs. The role involves determining payer sources, obtaining authorizations, and assisting patients with questions regarding bills or invoices. Effective communication with peers, supervisors, payors, physicians, and patients is essential.
