Benchmark Senior Living in Shrewsbury, MA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care in a home-like environment. You will join a supportive team and help residents with daily needs, medication administration, and care planning.

The role includes 3pm-11pm shifts, every other weekend, and a comprehensive benefits package. Starting pay is $34/hour with opportunities for growth.

Qualificações

• Current state LPN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program as required by state.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly residents is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, communicate, and document residents' status accurately.
• Observe changes in resident health and report to appropriate leaders per state regulations.
• Direct and supervise daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants and Lead RCAs.
• Coordinate care with community providers via case management.
• Support resident independence while balancing service demands.
• Recognize and report elder abuse or exploitation per state rules.
• Respond to emergencies and activate backup as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team! As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your main role will be to deliver nursing care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident behavior and health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of the Resident Care Assistants.
• Closely mentors, guides, and directs the Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Effectively balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and assists in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation (financial and other) and reports to appropriate sources per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup.

Requirements

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements)
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable
• 3pm-11pm including every other weekend both Saturday and Sunday
• Rates starting at $34.00hourly
