Responsibilities:

1. Stay in compliance with driving schedule.
2. Maintain driver's license status, medical clearance, and endorsements.
3. Track appointments and activities via LifeLoop platform.
4. Keep vehicles clean and maintained, including weekly full cleaning.
5. Fuel vehicles, wash vehicles, and ensure bus compliance.
6. Ensure vehicles are free of personal accessories.
7. Report issues with staff, residents, or family to supervisor or department head if supervisor unavailable.
8. Log inspections, mileage, maintenance, and report concerns.
9. Communicate effectively with receptionists and supervisors.
10. Assist residents in and out of vehicles, escort to appointments, and provide door-to-door service.
11. Clean community fitness equipment.
12. Spend 30 minutes monthly in Journey Care to connect with residents.
13. Report for other duties when transportation is unavailable.
14. Physically able to lift 20-30 pounds.
15. Assist with activities as directed by the Programs Director.
16. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
17. Follow Employee Handbook guidelines.

Additional Requirements:

• Clean DMV record and Class B license with passenger endorsement; air brake endorsement if applicable.
• Good communication skills and a caring demeanor.
• Flexible, punctual, dependable, and able to handle a heavy schedule.
• Enrolled in DOT random substance testing.
