Job summary

Taher, Inc. is hiring a Dishwasher for day hours with no nights or weekends, supporting our school lunch program. The role emphasizes cleanliness and safety, including food safety compliance and personal hygiene.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring dishes, utensils, and work areas stay sanitary and organized. Candidates should be punctual, dependable, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Training and PPE are provided, with opportunities for growth within the company’s kitchen

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Wash tables, walls, coolers, and trash receptacles as required.
• Follow storage and disposal procedures for trash and transport to designated areas.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Be on time and maintain assigned workstation in a safe, sanitary condition.

Essential Functions:

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
