Job summary

KenCCID is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with disabilities in daily living activities and to support their independence in a home and community setting.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, with 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, and 11PM-7AM shifts, along with a paid time off program and a referral program. You will work closely with a team to implement individualized care plans and ensure client safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License for more than 1 year.
• Qualified to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as needed.
• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and activities.

We are seeking a highly motivated Direct Support Professional to join our team in the Consumer Support Services industry. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities. Your main goal will be to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of care and support, while promoting their independence and well-being. You will work closely with our team of professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client. This is a part-time position that offers flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License for more than 1 year
• Qualified to work in the US
• Use your problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Complete physical examination, including tuberculosis test
• Ability to read and understand English as it relates to reading medical prescriptions, directions, recipes, policies, procedures and directions for managing the daily life and activities of Individuals and a safe and healthy home
