Job summary

The GIANT Company in Lewisburg, PA is seeking a Deli Team Member responsible for receiving, preparing, wrapping, slicing, weighing, and stocking deli products while maintaining appealing displays and clean prep areas.

You will deliver friendly customer service, follow safety and sanitation guidelines, operate or learn deli equipment, and comply with PPE and company policies, working shifts that may start early and extend to other hours.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to store customers, coworkers, vendors, and business partners
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and package products
• Maintain shelves, cases, and displays; stock, clean, rotate, and sign displays
• Ensure proper cooler conditions and safety, including PPE when using knives or blades
• Keep prep areas clean, sanitized, and organized; follow all safety and policy procedures
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and Confined Space training and other required trainings
