Join the PT Customer Service Leader role at Food Lion

Location: 902 W Cooksey Dr, Thomasville, NC, USA

Food Lion has been providing an easy, fresh, and affordable shopping experience since 1957, serving over 10 million customers weekly across 10 Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states.

Primary Purpose

To deliver fast, friendly, and flexible customer service, assisting the Customer Service Manager and Assistant Customer Service Manager in maintaining standards, maximizing sales, and ensuring excellent service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, friendly service, engaging customers positively
  • Greet customers and use their names when possible
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization
  • Handle office functions, cash reports, and transactions accurately
  • Ensure all equipment and kiosks are functioning properly
  • Perform cashier duties and lead customer service when needed
  • Adhere to company policies, dress code, and safety standards
  • Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical skills
  • Ability to perform cashier and service functions
  • Must meet age and physical requirements
Physical Requirements
  • Use of computers and communication systems
  • Repetitive hand and arm motions
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Handling various substances and working in temperature extremes
