Job summary

The University of Western States is seeking adjunct faculty to create course content and serve as instructors for a new Doctor of Physical Therapy program. While most course writers will also teach, we are open to PT experts providing only course creation.

Compensation: $1,230 per credit for course writing; additional per-credit for course delivery to be determined. Responsibilities include developing lectures, assessments, and alignment with outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree from a US-accredited physical therapy program.
• Official transcripts from prior institutions of higher learning within 30 days of hire.
• Experience teaching in clinical or academic settings.

Responsibilities

• Create course content and resources: lectures, presentations, assignments, activities, assessments.
• Ensure materials meet program standards and align with learning outcomes.
• Coordinate with program director and instructional design staff for LMS compatibility.
• Identify external resources to support reading/viewing and exploration opportunities.
