Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join the Bonne Vie location in Port Arthur, TX 77640. This full-time role involves screens, evaluations, and treatments for patients, with supervision of assistants as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure as a physical therapist in the practicing state.
• Strong communication skills and professional interaction with patients and staff.
• Able to perform duties with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats Patients
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindication
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function
• Supervises physical therapist assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members
