Job summary

Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance is seeking a motivated full-time PT Clinic Director for our outpatient clinic in New Castle, DE. The role combines clinical leadership with entrepreneurial spirit to deliver evidence-based care and outstanding patient outcomes.

You will oversee patient care, coordinate with clinicians, supervise staff, ensure timely documentation, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining Premier's commitment to patient-centered excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Graduate Program.
• Current Delaware PT license (PT) and CPR certification.
• Outgoing and energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Review referrals and medical records to determine therapy needs.
• Provide direct patient care per established guidelines.
• Document findings, progress and instructions to patients/caregivers.
• Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians in patient care.
• Develop goals and a comprehensive plan of care to reach them.
• Implement therapy programs and essential treatments.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians and insurers.
• Ensure timely daily notes and periodic progress/discharge reports.
• Take on additional Clinic Director duties as needed.

Job Description

Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance has an immediate opportunity for a motivated full-time PT Clinic Director with an entrepreneurial spirit for our fun and energetic outpatient clinic in New Castle, DE. What You'll Do

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
• Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports
• Additional duties as Clinic Director

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Graduate Program
• Current State of Delaware Physical Therapist License (PT), CPR certification
