Job summary

CLS Health PLLC in Houston, TX, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to lead a new orthopedic and cardiac rehab program. The role blends 70% management with 30% direct patient care, including building workflows, hiring, and working with our physician lead and referring providers.

You will oversee daily operations, staffing, and patient care while ensuring efficient clinic performance and financial health. Cardiac rehab coordination experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT in Texas.
• At least five years of outpatient physical therapy experience.
• Two to three years of clinic management or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, staffing, scheduling, coverage and clinic capacity.
• Hire and onboard staff; set expectations and provide coaching and feedback.
• Maintain a PT caseload within the 30% patient care portion.
• Oversee documentation, chart audits and medical necessity, coding, signatures and timely completion.
• Review program financials and cash flow with billing and finance; understand net revenue and margins.
• Present monthly financial and operational reviews and identify action steps.
• Coordinate with the cardiac rehab coordinator and medical director for coverage and standards.
